PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Throughout his career, Donald has had success in various high-profile projects as well as day-to-day items. Below are just a few highlights from some of these projects: a small glimpse into his career accomplishments.
DIGITAL CAMPAIGNS
During his tenure with Olympus, Donald was put in charge of managing the Pardot platform. He worked with marketing to strategize and deploy digital campaigns which included e-mail, landing pages and forms to generate leads and nurture existing ones.
VIDEO PRODUCTION
Donald wore several different hats when it came to video production. He was tasked to spearhead video projects which included the management of all aspects of production (storyboarding, scripting, on-site direction and editing). He was also a key member of the video leadership team that updated and enhanced video brand guidelines and best practices at Olympus. Additionally, he managed 3D animation vendors to ensure animations were ready to be incorporated in both video productions and for use in mobile applications.
APP DEVELOPMENT
When entering employment with Olympus, the primary form of sharing materials was either through print, dvd or on a laptop. Donald substantially changed this culture by developing and then managing the first ever iOS platform and iPad selling application for Olympus. This first app blossomed into other apps that were utilized to increase sales by creating more efficiency and greater opportunities for the sales force to connect with customers.
SALES MEETINGS
Donald was tasked with creating an overarching theme for the 2012 ENT National Sales meeting. From the opening video to breakout posters located around the venue he had a direct responsibility to produce results and have a memorable impact on the attendees. The majority of the work was accomplished in-house and the event was a huge success that changed how Olympus approached National Sales Meeting events in the future.
TOWN HALLS
After the success of the National Sales Meeting, Donald was tasked with bringing new life into town hall meetings at Olympus by coming up with innovative themes, videos and graphics with the goal of inspiring employees and making the meetings more memorable. Working with both in-house and off-site teams, Donald and his co-workers were able to create some truly memorable moments.
DESIGN EXAMPLES
In every project, Donald utilizes his academic training as a graphic artist combined with 12 years of work experience. Early in his career Donald produced print design for newspapers. Later he created brochures and a variety of marketing collateral to promote products and medical procedures.
TRADE SHOWS
During his time with the ENT group for Olympus, Donald was responsible for designing booth station displays, graphics, videos and interactive elements which culminated in a new innovative booth design for the ENT group in 2012.
VOLUNTEER SERVICE
Donald also uses his skills to do work for
non-profit religious organizations and youth sports. From creating custom videos to put a smile on kids’ faces to updating websites and promoting new projects, he gives time and energy to these community-building organizations.
